ART BY JELENA MARKOVIC

HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Ms Eva McGav and Jelena Markovic
Opening of the exhibition, Contemporary art gallery, London

Lord Mayor of Canary Wharf London unveiling Jelena's painting
at Taylor Woodrow company

Growing up in what was then Yugoslavia, Jelena's prodigious talent was quickly recognised and she was one of few selected for a much-coveted place at the Sumatovacka Art School in Belgrade, where she studied life drawing, painting and sculpture.
Arriving in England in 1995 she studied Art and Design at London Guildhall University and she quickly established herself as a much saught after artist, producing commissions for a number of well known collectors.
Jelena's paintings reveal an inspired mind. The viewer is left to marvel at the thought processes that engender such work full of life, mistery and beauty.
